What do I get for £150?
You will get a domain name, web hosting, a home page, 8 additional pages, a blog, a mobile responsive design, SEO friendly content and structure, 5 email accounts, integrated social media, integrated Google Analytics and a range of other standard website features.
What will my website look like?
Every website is different however all our websites have a few common features. Your website will have a header containing your logo and/or the name of your organisation, a navigation menu to your eight additional pages, a home page, a home page image slider, side bar sections, footer sections and links to your social media accounts. What can I use the eight additional pages for?
You can display any information you desire on these pages. Clients will typically opt for an ‘about us’ page and a ‘contact us’ page but you could consider any of the following:

- Products and services
- Product reviews
- Mission, values and vision
- Strategic aims
- Image gallery
- Video gallery
- Staff profiles
- Member profiles
- Customer testimonials
Ultimately you can add any information you like to your eight pages. Some clients prefer to only add four or five pages to start with and add the other pages at a later date. However you would like to manage your pages is up to you.
Do I get an email associated with my website?
Yes, we can create up to 5 email addresses for you which will end in your domain name. For example, email@example.com. If you would prefer to have an existing email address incorporated into your website instead we can also do this for you.
Where do you get the information and images for the website?
This is ‘your’ website so we believe you should provide the text and images for us to use. We are more than happy to write an ‘about us’ page for you however you will do a much better job than we will as you know more about yourself and your organisation than we do. If you have logos, photos and promotional images we can incorporate them into your website. If you do not have any images we can provide a selection of suitable copyright-free stock images. Similarly, if you would prefer us to create the text for your website we can do so but it is preferred that you contribute this information as we feel it will improve the overall accuracy, quality and appearance of your website.
Can I make regular changes to my website?
We will set you up so that you have access to the back-end of your website. You can use the back-end to edit pages, images and blog posts as well as a range of other website features. This gives you complete control over yoru own website and you are not reliant on us to perform additional work at a cost. We believe this is the fairest way to do business. However, we are obviously willing to work with out clients over the long-term and offer free small-scale revisions and edits if you are not able to perform them yourself. But, please be aware that this is a free service so complete redesigns and large scale changes will not be possible for free. Can I add additional features such as extra pages or email accounts?
You can add a range of additional features to your website however this does not form part of the £150 website design package. We offer a variety of ‘Website Add-Ons’, and to ensure we maintain our simple pricing structure, all Website Add-Ons cost £50. These Add-Ons include additional features such as extra pages, events pages, galleries, enhanced social media, testimonials and much more. For example, if you requested a £150 website with extra pages, the total cost would be £200 (£150 for the website and £50 for the extra pages as a ‘Website Add-On’. £150 is pretty cheap – is it a case of “you get what you pay for”?
No, although our £150 website design package is one of the cheapest available you will not miss out on quality in any way. You are guaranteed a fully optimised and professionally designed website with excellent functionality. There is no difference is quality between us and our competitors – only price!
Are there any annual renewal fees?
We create your website in a way that gives you complete control in the future. We will never enforce any renewal fees upon you or slap you across the face with hidden costs a few months down the line. No renewal fees will be required by Happy Little Websites at any stage. However, please note that it will be your responsibility to renew your domain name and web hosting on an annual basis. This cost is dictated by the hosting company and will cost approximately £14.99 per year for hosting renewal and approximately £10 per year for domain name renewal.
To summarise, there is a cost associated with maintaining your website over time but this is completely separate from the work conducted at Happy Little Websites – you will never need to give us a penny (unless you want to). We will be happy to talk through any associated annual costs before any work begins to ensure you are completely clear on what the future management of your website involves.
How does the annual renewal process work?
You will be contacted by your web hosting provider around a month before your domain name and hosting is due to expire. If you wish to continue all you need to do is log into your hosting account and make the payment. Your website will then continue to function without you having to do anything else. If you no longer wish to maintain your website you can simply leave your domain name and hosting to expire. Just be aware that once you have let this expire your website will no longer be active and your domain name will no longer exist. We will be happy to talk through this process with you before any work begins.
